What Motif is
Motif is a design library your coding agent calls over MCP. Your agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT and others) does the building with your model; Motif supplies guidance with real values, design-rule checks, project decisions and, as they open, templates. 9 of the 9 tools are live now.
Model costs are separate. Motif doesn't run a model for you. Whatever your agent's provider charges for its tokens, you pay them as usual.
Start in four steps
- Create a free account. Sign in with your email; we send a one-time code. No card needed; Free lasts 30 days.
- Connect your agent. Add the server

It costs nothing and shows every allowance and when it resets. - Build something. Ask for what you need, for example
Use Motif to design the pricing page, then check contrast and target sizes before you finish.
